“It uses an after market pull tested swivel plate and the Original hing mechanism so the seat tilts back as normal for engine acees. It has raised the seat hight by about 20mm

Bit of welding required to produce a seat frame to sit on but no mods to the car and in theory could be bolted back as original - installation passed Mot and engineer ionspection - probably cost me about £100”
” No i didnt use the midlde seat mechanism they are too high - I booght an after market swivel base that was only about 30mm high.”
“Steel work was made from 3mm thick 25mm angle - Tacked with a mig and then welded properly with a Arc welder”

  1. Unfortunately the TEOC website was taken down before I could enjoy the information. Now, one Emina and now a great Previa later, I am revisiting my desire to make both the driver's seat and the front passenger seat rotate on a swivel. Any information will be gratefully received. Thank you, David Waller
