Interior light fuse in Previa and change to LED

Time to change the fluorescent light bulbs on the Previa. In this post we start with the light over the rearview mirror.

Did blow the interior fuse being uncareful pointing with a screwdriver and got a short circuit.

Fluorescent light bulb that is to be change. I just removed the plastic cover (with a flat screwdriver)

The cigarette lighter has its own fuse in the Previa.

Here is where the spare fuses are located, the 15 amp was really used so had to go buy new ones.

I decided to keep the vanity mirror bulb for now. It is 3 watt and only works when the exterior light are on..  Took some time figuring out why it didnt work. See video

Before the change: fluorescent light bulb. Warm white color.

This is the new LED light. You have to put the polarity correct or it will not lit.

This is the color of the led. Not as warm as the fluorescent one but still good.
